Saudi Arabia's ZATCA Phase 2 electronic invoicing mandate requires businesses to cryptographically sign every invoice (UBL 2.1 XML format) and transmit it in real time to the Fatoora portal. Here is how we engineer zero-latency clearance inside Odoo 18 without disrupting daily point-of-sale throughput.

1. Cryptographic Stamp & ECDSA secp256k1 Signing

Every B2B and B2C invoice generated in Odoo must pass through an automated cryptographic pipeline. We embed an ECDSA signing module that computes SHA-256 hashes, generates sequential invoice counter hashes, and embeds cryptographic digital stamps in under 45 milliseconds.

2. Asynchronous Queue Architecture for Zero POS Delay

Instead of blocking the POS cashier waiting for the governmental API clearance response, invoices are queued in an asynchronous Redis ledger. The customer receives their compliant QR-stamped thermal receipt immediately, while background workers handle handshake clearance and error retries.

3. Multi-Branch Automated Tax Reconciliation

Our custom Odoo 18 modules automatically reconcile localized VAT returns across multi-branch physical stores, e-commerce webhooks, and third-party warehouse shipments into a unified monthly audit ledger.
